Starting to feel like a small grain of sand
I drove to the coast in hopes that I can
Be swept off my feet, and swept out to sea
So I can finally feel at home
But the waves held me back and I came crashing on the shore

I'm burning holes in memories
So I don't dwell on the past

And turn these haunted photographs to ash
